Día de Acción de Gracias

We thank You, Lord, and worship You with gladness;

We praise Your Name and lift our hearts in song;

For You are good, Your love endures forever,

Not like the bloody strike that took too long.

We thank You, Lord, for everyday provisions,

For daily food, for clothes and shelter too,

But today, for taking those bastards out of our vision,

We mainly want to thank you.

We thank You, Lord, for giving us salvation,

You sent them down, where they really belong.

From east to west, we are out of execration;

We arrive on time to work all day long.

We thank You, Lord, for giving us back freedom

To guide our few steps again to Neuilly

We now take the bus or the metro in normal boredom

We thank You, Lord, You’ve made us revive indeed!
